为了悼念这次车祸中遇难的学生，雅典奥组委宣布取消28日晚闭幕式的文艺演出，只保留运动员入场、国际残奥委主席克雷文致辞、雅典市向北京市交接残奥会会旗和圣火熄灭仪式。
